Dimitrios Eleftheriou, Energy Market Analyst, European Energy.
Dimitrios is Energy Market Expert specialising in both large- and small-scale energy systems analyses and optimisation.
Extensive experience in modelling the deployment of large-scale onshore/offshore renewables and flexible assets across Europe, as well as in evaluating the interplay between the electricity system and Power-to-X technologies in energy hub/island contexts.
Competences spanning from energy market analytics and business case evaluations to electricity market trading under uncertainty, with a strong focus on mathematical modelling and power price forecasting.
Dimitrios ’academic background includes an MSc in Sustainable Energy – Energy Systems Analyses from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a MEng in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). His research work includes 4 peer-reviewed scientific publications. His professional experience reaches Denmark, United Kingdom, Italy and Greece.
